emphasize on-the-job training. This can be more beneficial than
pre-service training. We Learn Best By
Doing!
Most
ministries require a specified length of commitment, but we allow
people to change ministries gracefully, without guilt.
We
encourage people to serve primarily in the areas where the are most
gifted. However, in order for our church to be effective, it is also
important that our members serve in areas where they are needed, even
if not necessarily gifted. It may be necessary for some members to
carry multiple responsibilities.
It
is our goal that every regular attendee have some ongoing ministry
involvement, although time commitment will depend on individual life
circumstances. It is our desire that every regular attendee will
continually seek Greater
challenges and have Growing
commitment to ministry involvement.
